Founder

Our Founder Story : Rohan is from farmer’s family well connected with nature and spirituality.

He left his home when he was 16 years old; he had experienced the dualities of life and yet felt void. Life unfolds in front of you in the most unexpected ways, and he believes that every human experience that you have is for the soul’s progress. He had his spiritual calling from an early age.

His journey began with a spiritual quest during his schooling which gave him the seed of spirituality, and he felt connected to his true self, met different gurus, and gained immense knowledge of Yoga and life. He believes in the essence of spirituality, where awareness of duality is of utmost importance. he believes in conscious living, and he is a passionate traveller. During his travels, he realised how Yoga was being diluted and started losing its true essence. Embracing a yogic lifestyle for the past 15 years, the life-changing experiences pushed him to revive Yoga for a better cause.

His mission is to share the true essence of Yoga in its purest and authentic form to transform the world in an era where mental health is the biggest pandemic.

MISSION

The mission of our Yoga school is to preserve and share the authentic essence of Yoga, empowering to achieve holistic well-being and inner balance in a world facing increasing mental health challenges. We are also on a mission to nurture and create next-generation authentic Yoga teachers inculcating Aspardha (non-competition), ensuring that the wisdom of traditional yogic science is passed on with integrity and depth.

YSI Mind-Body-Spirit Yoga Approach:

Focused on our purpose, we embrace Yoga in its authentic form—both Traditional and Spiritual—guiding individuals beyond the ego and senses through experiential learning. We integrate the union of mind, body, and spirit through the principles of traditional yogic science in our curriculum. Rooted in ancient wisdom, our approach instills the essence of Yoga and guides you toward deeper awareness and enlightenment. Traditional Yoga is incomplete without breath control (Pranayama), meditation (Dhyana), and mindfulness, its not merely about physical postures. Our traditional teachings focus on the holistic science of Yoga, nurturing a profound connection with a higher reality beyond asanas alone.

We believe that a teacher must truly see the student and be fully present in their journey, ensuring a personalized and authentic yogic experience. We embrace Yoga in its authentic form, both Traditional and Spiritual-guiding individuals to create authentic teachers.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Yog School Of India, as a teaching institute, is deeply rooted in the ancient Yogic philosophy. We believe that philosophy is the father of all science, and grounding ourselves in these philosophies guides us to rediscover ourselves, question our life purpose, redefine our core values and incorporating lifelong learning.

Our core philosophy is on the Yog concept: Experience and attain oneness from duality - a path of self-discovery and ultimate unity.

At Yog School of India, we emphasise the holistic approach and integration of mind, body and spirit in retreats, TTC and workshops. Our Philosophical concept is integrated into all programs by cultivating self-awareness, and a deeper connection to oneself and the world around us.
